Space of a Day was formed in 2017 by guitarist/producer Ben Trexel and singer/lyricist Autumn Yatabe. From the start, they wanted to create original music that reflected their influences but also added something modern and fresh to the mix.
Trexel aimed to bring more of the electric guitar back to modern rock and upon hearing Autumn's voice, Trexel knew this was the vocalist he had been searching for for a decade. Yatabe brings not only an excellent singing voice but a keen intellect and talent for lyric writing to the table.
In order to fill out the required two to three hour gigs they soon began receiving, the band decided to add many cover songs that both Trexel and Yatabe had loved listening to growing up and that they love to perform which includes classics from Fleetwood Mac, Bad Company, and Linda Ronstadt. The band added drummer Daniel Coyle, guitarist Keith Shannon, and bassists Beck Hall and Michael Callahan to the lineup, creating a solid base of experienced musicians with the same goal in mind.
Space of a Day is set to release their second full length album of original music later this Summer. The band has over 700,000 streams on Spotify and is building a loyal fan base in many countries. For more information, visit www.spaceofaday.com
