Ferus Presents: Mellowship

The band Mellowship's name was derived from an old Red Hot Chili Pepper song called, "Mellowship Slinky." RHCP frontman Anthony Kiedis proclaimed that the song is about an "assortment of his favorite things." Mellowship is an assortment of musical tastes and revolving musicians. Even though the lineup is interchangeable, the musical performance is not. Members of Mellowship have shared the stage with everyone from Riley Green to Lauryn Hill and the band's musical bandwidth is evident in their live shows. For over a decade, the band has entertained music lovers (and haters) across the southeast. Mellowship will continue to be purveyors of the party until someone either pulls the plug on them or the PA.
