THE BREWERY will be located in a 23,000 sq. ft building housing beer production, taproom, eatery, event space, and retail located at 101 Beech Street. Outside the brewery will be an outdoor taproom, pavilion, greenspace, and stage.
The facility is being built to eventually produce around 15,000 barrels annually. Production is set to begin this Spring.
Ferus also seeks to limit its carbon footprint by implementing new technology. Solar panels will be responsible for producing the bulk of power, while the onsite water treatment facility will convert 90% of waste water for irrigation and various other needs.
LATIN FOR FERAL, is derived from their passion for brewing sour beers and its connection to wild yeast that is used during fermentation. In addition to a large focus on sour beers, Ferus plans to produce a variety of crisp pilsners, hop forward IPA’s, flavored stouts, and barrel aged beers.
